Hey Guys!

This is Meng How, you ex-ex Vice President! I am just here to publicize an annual public drama performance by my CCA. It's called Bai Yun Gang and yes, it's in Chinese! The ticket costs $8 each and if you buy 10, you can get one free! Basically, I am the Vice-Producer of this entire production, so I hope that you guys could come down to support me by buying tickets to watch the show. It will be held on two days, 2 Mar and 3 Mar (Evening). Although it is in Chinese, I am sure that all of us could learn a thing or two from there and perhaps our own EDC in AHS can actually hold one annual public performance in the near future! this is totally diff from the post i just posted.
okay i just read our archives all over again... and i am very very very touched by alot of things.
so i want to say some stuff now, i hope you guys will always remember.

ED, 2006 has been a year of highs and lows. i thank you all for the highs, they will forever be carved into my memory, and kept in my heart. i thank you all for the lows too, for the things we didnt do well in, because there's always sth to improve on. for the year to be an unexpected rollercoaster, a thrilling ride, a whole lot of fun.
ED, i want to represent the whole exco to apologise for any mistakes we have made. this is because we have no experience in being CCA leaders, lest your leaders. tasks were thrown to us one by one and our burdens grew heavier and heavier. sec three is a crazy year, those who make it, will make it. those who struggle, will find themselves stronger in the end. sometimes, we have been too stuck up, i admit. we kept to ourselves thinking we are the unbreakable EXCO. but i sincerely believe, and hope that the next batch will keep this in mind that: a strong exco will make a strong CCA. a bonded exco will make a bonded CCA. but, a broken one breaks the CCA, breaks the bond, breaks the family.
ED, actually you have turned into a vital part of my life. i will really miss this warm and beautiful place after i hand over, unfortunately. sometimes, i really wonder if i will be willing to let go even. there's and end to everything i guess. i sincerely hope you guys can stay vibrant and warm and i hope that we, the exco 2007, have made a change in your lives. afterall, this is the way englishdrama should be, filled with warmth and life. i hope the upcoming batch will bring ED to greater heights... but whats most important is that i hope ED will become the place where ED-iots thrive, where ED-iots love, what ED-iots are passionate about, what ED-iots will be willing to sacrifice themselves for. Remember what i said in my election speech? i hope to be the leader that runs with you all, lighting the spark in your hearts, making you all ED stars, the brightest stars. i also said that i believe you guys can do it, just that you need a leader to ignite the fire that lies within. hopefully, i have managed to live up to my own standards and definition of a leader. to my secthrees, i hope you guys can carry the torch on, like how they do in the olympics, and not let the fire burn off. soon, exco 2007 will be gone, vanished. and exco 2008, will be the ones in authority, in action.
ED, support them, as you have supported us. thank you for all your attention to me in this past year, though i have been boring, dumb, thanks for listening. thanks for supporting me too, by not going against me, you have already supported me in some way. i didnt win your votes in the elections, ny did. she was supposed to be your president. i hope i havent failed you in any way. once again, thank you ED for the unforgettable year of 2006. i treasure this year and my position as the president of the BEST CLUB IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD -ahs english drama club.

Heyya! This just my own post after today's SEC ONES WELCOME PARTY. (:

We sec 3s got to be in charge of a something for the first time!!! That is like such a BIG THING! However, we were given insufficient time to prepare! We were told it is supposed to be on next monday but POOF, it became today o.O

We somehow came out with something and try to make things in order. WE tied colored water bombs, wrote out ideas, tested them and stuff. Today was our end product! I was expecting it to be worse, but thank God!

Boy, am i glad when all of you guys actually did the Crazy 'Shampoo-ing'! I didn't expect you guys to do that! Thanks for cooperating with us Sec 3s, willing to play and participate in what we got for you.

This is indeed a real good lesson for us (: We got to know how STRESS to be in charge. No play play okay! We got lots more to learn though.

thought i should give a report on yesterday's CCA SELECTION.

to our amazement, our booth was swarmed. audition scripts werent enough and we even had to give up our main copies, how nice. thanks to the very very stingy MR CHAI, we only get a quota of 10 girls and 3 boys (what the).

but it was kinda cool still, right people? we got the good ones. quality, not quantity.
my friends from ug said they had to come over to our booth to snatch the sec ones who are waiting for their turn to audition. well, our booth was never empty, i must say. and despite failed attempts, some re-tried our auditions.

all of them rated the how-badly-do-you-want-to-join-ed question 8-10((:

and our very quiet but hardworking treasurer, Shi Min who has been daily keeping the records of the funds. it has been quite a hard period for her to chase people for money as the ED fund is kinda in loads of debts. so, people pay up!
the very very very fun bunch of Exco who help you all do the sparklers, set up booth, hang banners, clean the storeroom, go ikea to look for furniture, ask their parents/friends for furniture that they no longer want for our storeroom and all the little little things that you may never see, but are super important.
LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT THE LEAST, every ediot who has sacrificed their voice to cheer on that day, talk to the secones on that day, acted real cool on that day... etc. YOU GUYS ROCK!

but i want to apologise for not letting the sectwos come cos Mrs Rod didnt want too many people there. she only wanted the committee but i wanted more people so i asked the sec3s to come along as they wil soon be your new leaders. Hope you guys forgive me.

hmm, but most importantly, next monday there will be ED! from 3-5.
syf will have syf practice. the rest i think will try out for a competition coming up. the National Drama Competition 2007. this year's theme is about breaking generation gaps and showing nation spirit. so JIAYOUS ok? the secones will be joining us soon, and they are quite a strong batch of sec ones so you all must buck up hahaha. oh yes, not forgetting, please behave lol. absence from CCA is counted as truency, so you better be there!
announcement from the treasurer: we are collecting Jan funds starting from next year, so bring 10 bucks on monday (and the money you owe). the funds collected each month may vary, but we are really in need of money now, thats the reason for the 10 bucks. hope you guys understand.

well, its a new year.
to the sec2s: mug hard and get into the stream you want!
to the sec3s: mug hard too, sec3 is a real tough year when everything seems to come crashing down all of a sudden. you guys are soon going to be the next batch of leaders... and CCA leaders are supposed to be "role models in serving and leading" famous words of Mr Chua! so aza aza! i know you guys can do it!
to the sec4s: its been a real real enriching experience to work with you all and though there are many erm differences among us, i really think i couldnt ask for a better team of people to work with. thank you for putting up with me and thank you for every little thing that you have done or sacrificed for ed. chiong this year, exorcise the "SLACK" spirit. for those trying for DSA, every common test is important. for those who are losing hope, dont give up! you know you can do it. i know you can do it too. exco, all the way!

hello. wow its in the middle of the night and after farewell. im having headache and gastric and whatever gosh.

wanna thank the secfours for being such wise seniors and guiding us through the darkness.
it suddenly dawned on me when i reached home and quietened down that yes, it is really time to grow up. no more whinings, no more slacking. cmon people, you guys are having a new batch of juniors next year! time to set a good example for the small ones to follow.
sounds wierd coming from me... being that im already secthree. but oh well, harsh reality that i so dont want to face strikes. no choice but to face it.
time to wake up you know? and stand up for what you want.

to the secfours: you will always be the ones that i look up to, yearn to be, and learn eagerly from. i still cant imagine life without dependance on you guys would be like... will we survive? i guess i have been too dependant on you all for all the things that youd do for us.

to the sectwos: time to grow up people. time flies, soon it will be time to take over. its never too late to start building a solid exco which is bonded and wont have any internal conflicts. with a bonded committee, then comes the bonded cca. theres time to work hard for the post you want. jiayous, sec three wont be an easy year but through perserverance, i believe you can do it!

to the secones: wow you guys are gonna be like seniors to the incoming secones next year! do set a good example and yeah, do try to get to know them better! (after all, they would be the ones doing your farewell xD) yup, sec ones ah... haha no longer the babies of the school liao ok? haha there wont be anymore pampering and anymore cradling. time to learn how to walk by yourself. so, wanna say work hard(: try your best in whatever you do and leave no regrets.

亲爱的英文戏剧学会的会员：
嘿！大家好！我非常的荣幸能够再度被你们现任的执委邀请回来参加英会的假期活动，在此感到非常的欣慰。身为二零零四年到二零零五年的副主席，我可以坦率地告诉诸位，我们的学会已经进步许多、名气也旺了不少，真是可喜可贺呀！但是，要让我们的学会的Â大长今Â般精神继续发扬光大、名誉响侧云霄，我们还有一条非常遥远的路要走，过程当中也当然少不了诸位坚忍不拔的毅力、顽强不屈的精神！可是，我可以保证你，所得到的回报将带有一股甜滋滋的味道。所以，正在偷懒的会员们，请你们扪心自问，你到底为学会做过了些什么？你要等到何时才能够觉悟？请将答案告诉你自己。

Dear EDC Executive Committee (2006-2007) and Members,

Hey! My warmest greetings to everyone! It's indeed an honour to be invited for EDC's holiday activities and I am feeling really elated about it. As the Vice-President for the Year 2004 - 2005, I can honestly proclaimed that EDC has indeed grown up and improved tremendously over the years and I am proud of you guys for contributing to its growth! But for EDC to propel to even greater heights, it would require the maximum effort from each and everyone of you. I would not deny that the journey ahead is an arduous one, however, I can say that the fruits of the sow that you reaped will be definitely a worthy harvest! For those who are still slacking, ask youself these questions, "What have you done so far for EDC?", "Are you really worthy to be in it?" You don't have to tell me or the Presidents the answers, but I hope that you can really pull up your socks, get things started and prove your worth to EDC.

Some words of encouragement for my dearest juniors:
EDC Executive Members (2006-2007): For any activities that you guys are planning, please remember that it must be indeed useful and that every member will learn some values and lessons from it. =)

Members: For any competitions that you guys are going to compete for, I wish that you guys will bring back trophies and glory to EDC! =)

hello, SIHAN HERE!
just created this place cos i realised how difficult it is to actually get all of you to come for drama through one means of communication.
i hope you guys will be able to be more informed about drama activities through the set-up of this.
